Brad Rotto joins AIA in January 2017 as a multi-lines claims adjuster. He has his Level 2 license and is working towards his CIP. An independent adjuster since 2014, Brad brings over 25 years of experience in the residential and commercial construction industry, including 15 years working almost exclusively on insurance-related property losses.
Originally from Edmonton, Brad moved to Vancouver Island in 1990. A qualified carpenter and heavy equipment operator, he started with a restoration contractor and worked his way up to project management. In 2003, Brad opened his own company, dealing primarily with insurance restoration claims.
Through his experience as a project manager and contractor, Brad has extensive knowledge in all aspects of commercial and residential construction, including the BC Building Code, carpentry, drywall, drainage systems, plumbing, electrical, and floor laying. In addition, having been a business owner himself, Brad brings skills in customer service, communication, negotiation, and professionalism.
Brad handles all lines of coverage with emphasis on residential and commercial property losses, large complex property losses, and liability investigations, but he specializes in scoping and cost control on repairs.
